Parque del Agua Luis Buñuel is an immense green space, unlike any I’ve visited in a city. Covering over 120 hectares, this park is essentially a world of its own within Zaragoza. With multiple lakes, walking paths, cycling routes, and even its own river beach, it’s the perfect destination for a day of leisure and relaxation. As someone who’s always seeking that balance between urban exploration and natural sanctuary, I found it to be the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a quick jog.
But what struck me the most was the park’s emphasis on sustainability. They’ve integrated natural water purification systems and made a conscious effort to keep the area free of pollution. There are even urban gardens and eco-workshops where you can learn more about sustainability practices. From the futuristic and eco-friendly water park to the expansive golf course, this park effortlessly combines leisure, luxury, and sustainability. If you’re like me, someone who loves the urban but longs for a natural oasis, you can’t leave Zaragoza without visiting Parque del Agua Luis Buñuel. It certainly deserves its spot among the top 10 places in Zaragoza.
